About Us
DataBeersVLC is a recurring FREE event open to the general public. The aim is to bring people together to talk about any aspect relating to data in a relaxed environment lubricated with some beers.
DataBeersVLC is the reference meetup about data science in València since 2016 and is part of the DataBeers non-for-profit community, present in more than 20 cities around the world.

La charla presenta tres historias sobre cómo la inteligencia artificial nos ayuda a entender mejor nuestras dinámicas sociales. A través de experimentos y modelos se exploran temas como la propagación de modas, la predicción de afinidades en relaciones sociales y las decisiones cooperativas en sociedades primitivas. En resumen muestra cómo la IA puede ser una herramienta poderosa para desentrañar los patrones invisibles que guían nuestro comportamiento colectivo.

Quizá creas que hoy las redes sociales mueven el mundo como nunca antes, pero las tribus de cazadores-recolectores ya nos muestran el verdadero poder de la amistad desde hace miles de años. Con brazaletes de rastreo, vimos que los lazos entre amigos, más que los familiares, tejen una red vital para compartir conocimiento. Estas redes ancestrales sugieren que la amistad, más que los lazos familiares, ha sido la clave para nuestra cooperación y éxito como especie.
