About Us
DataBeersVLC is a recurring FREE event open to the general public. The aim is to bring people together to talk about any aspect relating to data in a relaxed environment lubricated with some beers.
DataBeersVLC is the reference meetup about data science in València since 2016 and is part of the DataBeers non-for-profit community, present in more than 20 cities around the world.

El eyetracking es una herramienta ampliamente utilizada para estudiar el comportamiento del usuario. Aunque los dispositivos de eyetracking recopilan datos cuantitativos, su interpretación tiende a ser cualitativa debido a la ausencia de modelos que analicen las trayectorias visuales generadas en actividades cotidianas como la lectura o la comparación de productos. El uso de técnicas de machine learning ofrece una oportunidad para un análisis más riguroso y cuantitativo de estas trayectorias (scanpaths).

La estafa y venta de obras de arte falsas es un fenómeno global que se viene produciendo desde el inicio de la historia. Durante las últimas décadas, en las que el mundo del arte ha pasado a ser una inversión para gente de alto poder adquisitivo, ha sido cuando se ha experimentado un aumento en este tipo de delitos. No hay que olvidar que también se utiliza para blanquear dinero, e incluso para financiar el ISIS. Esta modalidad delictiva está considerada como el 4º negocio ilegal más lucrativo a nivel mundial; después de las armas, droga y prostitución.
